As photographers on a safari to Kenya, students learn about two regions in Kenya by exploring the topography and animals that are found in game reserves. After creating the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and a Maasai village, the photographers find themselves in the center of a cultural misunderstanding. After discussing how to resolve the issue, students hold a farewell party to celebrate and reflect on their learning about Maasai culture and the Maasai Mara reserve.
